Regular cleaning
Dissolve 1 part soap paste in 2 parts warm water to make a bucket of soapy water. For all surfaces that aren't heavily soiled or greasy, dissolve 1 tablespoon of black soap in 2 liters of lukewarm water.
Floors and tiled floors
Directions: Dissolve 2 to 3 tablespoons of soap in 5 liters of lukewarm to warm water. Wash and scrub with a sponge. For parquet floors and tiles, it's best to use lukewarm water to protect the hardened oil layer and avoid damaging it. The black soap is slightly greasy. It contains a portion of unsaponifiable flax oil, which leaves a protective, nourishing, and slightly shiny layer on the polished surface.
Stove, deep fryer, hob
Apply a few drops of black soap directly to a sponge. For stubborn dirt, prepare a mixture of one part black soap and one part Blanc de Meudon. Apply immediately and rinse.
Cutlery made of copper, brass, silver...
For general maintenance, soak the cutlery in a bath of lukewarm water with 4 to 5 tablespoons of black soap for 10 minutes. Then, remove the cutlery and dry it (do not rinse).
Cleaning brushes
In any case, avoid solvents, even those of vegetable origin, when cleaning brushes (they are expensive, polluting, and slightly harsh on the skin). With black soap and lukewarm or warm water, you can usually clean paint (even oil paint) and even lightly grease the bristles on the brushes to ensure a longer lifespan.
Garden
Aphids and other small unwanted insects. Black soap is well-known among organic gardeners. It protects your rose bush, flowers, and houseplants.
Animals
For the hygiene of your animals' coats. Black soap is well-known among organic breeders for cleaning animal udders. It's also used as a shampoo for dogs and horses and for nail and hoove care.
